In a nut shell, I engrave any items of jewellery, glassware and titanium by hand and machine, at a fair price and just as importantly …on time.

I’m on the fifth floor at House of Fraser Manchester, where I’ve been based since 1978.

Over the years, I’ve engraved a fair few gifts for just about every occasion. The most important piece of work to date, however, has always been the one which I happen to be working on. It could be a set of entwined initials on the back of a silver locket, a romantic message on the inside of a tungsten ring, or even a Yard of Ale glass for the Groom-to-be on his Stag night, inscribed with his “porn-star” name; ie the name of
his first ever pet and his Mother’s maiden name. Just for the record, mine would be “Fluffy Thornley!”

My service is also available at the Trafford Centre care of “The Watch Hospital” where items can be dropped-off and collected a few days later.
